About Me
My studio is nestled in the awe-inspiring beauty of the Waitakere ranges in Auckland, New Zealand, only 15 minutes from the rugged and windswept West Coast at Te Henga/Bethells Beach. This stunning location, once home to many native bird species that have since disappeared, is now a reserve where these species, including the endangered kōkako and hihi (stitchbird), are being reintroduced.
Our house has been full of animals for as long as I can remember, and I find an endless source of beauty, inspiration, and great fun in them all, both wild and family members. This emotional connection with the animals around me is a significant part of my artistic process.
My work includes an eclectic mix of whimsical pet-inspired humour and pieces that reflect my deep-rooted love of the stunning New Zealand landscape and our abundant flora & fauna.
I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it. It's a pleasure to share my artistic vision with you.
